Extended length strap question 6s

My 6s strap is really cutting into the bottom of my wrist.

The issue is the buckle seems to stick out more than my 645 which i had no problems with.

Does anyone know if the Garmin extended length strap has a longer female part to move the buckle around my wrist a bit?

Or is it just the make part of the strap they make longer so the buckle will still be in the same place anyway?

Only the strap length itself will be longer and not the hardware buckle side. IE: If you take off your watch and look at it it directly laying flat, the bottom half strap is a longer portion. The top half…

Ah thanks, not sure why i’m having such an issue with the buckle cutting into my veins!

I realise it’s shorter than my 645 strap but still about 6 holes of play left on the 6s strap.

Never had any issues with my 645 strap. Strange!

Wow, got a Notocity strap off Amazon and it’s slightly longer and softer than the original strap. So comfy!

Let’s see how long it lasts. Could possibly stretch too much as it feels so soft but at least it’s not cutting into my vein

I also got a NotoCity from Amazon and it's an excellent strap, I found it the same length as the OEM black silicone (Taxtix Delta) but with slightly more subtle ridge marks (deeper on the Garmin). Trouble is, that and the original straps including the tactical nylon are all slightly too short for my almost 8" wrists and very little information about anything longer (NotoCity uses the last hole for the second strap retainer, it's right on the limit!). I also picked up a PVD Ti bracelet for non-fitness use and had to take a surprising three links out of that for a decent fit.
