Is out there the idea to create an activity for outdoor climbing? Because the indoor climbing have some weird settings that makes it far from perfect on an outdoor use.
1. The automatic start of a climb makes the watch count as climb every time I move along the paths below the cliff, that normally have difference in altitude. that's because a gym is supposed to be flat. So the results are a lot of false climb, that sometime i manage to cancel but other times mess up the readings. It also happened that cancelling this false climb within few seconds, cancelled also the previous real climb. Don't know really how and why. So one easy solution could be to add a way to disable the automatic start.
2. The fact that the activity is binded in connect to Fitness and Gym group makes impossible to have a map into each single activity page. This could be useful when discovering new cliffs, with the possibility to pin on the map climbed routes or interesting project. Of course I tried to change via browser connect the type of activity from Indoor Climbing to Climbing/Alpinism (in "others" field) but that change completely the informations in the activity, making the information collected with the activity itself useless.
3. Would be great to have the possibility to add manually climbed routes along the time of the activity. That's because, using the chest strap as hearth sensor, you can leave the watch in the backpack and only after add the routes related to the heart readings.
Thanks to whoever will read and answer.
