No maps on Fenix 6 Pro (firmware 15.20)

Goodday everyone,

I have had a 6 Pro for 2 weeks and I cannot see the maps on my watch. I have now tried everything to my knowledge. Reinstall the watch, update maps etc.

Now I bought a new Fenix 6 Pro yesterday, because I wanted to return the other one. The new Fenix had firmware 12.60 and the cards worked on it. Then update everything and then again no cards with firmware 15.20!

Can someone still help me? Garmin asks if I want to return the watch for an replacemant/check, but I don't pay that much money first.

When I was just running. It occurred to me that maybe removing and reinstalling…

Start the hike app (for example)> menu>hike settings>maps>configure maps> what do yo see there?

when you click the top right button to display workout and you scroll down to navigate, you do not see any maps ? be sure you do not have airplane mode on also.

I've checked it and Airplane mode is off. Also do I have nothing visible on my watch. See the photo for my problem (not mine, but same look).

That is really strange with 2 watches. have you tried to reset to factory default ?

Start the hike app (for example)> menu>hike settings>maps>configure maps> what do yo see there?

I recently had an issue with maps and after investigating it, I found that for some reason the worldwide base map was not installed on my watch. It had been there, but somehow it wasn't there. So, I would check to see if the worldbase map is installed select maps>options>map settings>map>configure Maps, the first map displayed I believe should be the worldwide map.

If it isn't there, plug your phone in to computer and start up Garmin connect and reinstall your maps, that should reinstall the basemap.

This is what I did.

Tomorrow I will be running again and then I will use the navigation. Hopefully it will continue to work!

It's Garmin Express on your computer that you want to start up.

You have an option to reinstall each map so worthwhile doing that once connected two GE.

Same issues here Only after reinstalling Garmin Express No luck on Maps showing up.
