Garmin does not add watchfaces to the firmware afterwards. You can download CIQ watchfaces from the Appstore. However, these require more battery than the build in watchfaces.
Would be nice to see them change that policy. Much prefer garmin faces where you can config them directly on the watch. I much prefer the look of solar/enduro watch faces that have all the outer info plus centrally justified time. The fenix 6 pro one with only hours or minutes centred is a bit silly.
That will not do. The build in watch faces are in the ROM of the watch and have their own CPU area. That is why they are so economical. It is simply not possible to make this dream come true.
Download a CIQ watchface. Ask the developers if they are developing an "enduro" watchface.
I don't remember Garmin having ever ported a watch face from a watch to another. It's a zero-cost differentiation between very similar if not identical watches. No matter how silly it may sound, but the watch face is the screen you look at the most, so it may, a little, play a role when deciding between watches.
Unfortunately those cloned 3rd party watch faces usually slow down the watch and consume more battery.
