+1 for iceskating and inline skating.
The lack of native support for rollerblading is the only thing holding me back switching to Garmin.
Please add it.
Amen. How do we have Walk and Walk Indoor yet not a single skating type? Yoga? Pilates? Give me a break.
And no, copying some existing activity and trying to tweak it to make up for Garmin being lazy is…
Can't you add this as a custom activity?
It's not the same thing. In garmin connect then sports mix. Because the profile is mirrored
From the manual [ Creating a Custom Activity ]

For the couple time a year I go rollerblading, I've downloaded an inline skating activity from CIQ. Works well enough for me.
I usually prefer native apps over CIQ apps, but in this case I just don't use it enough to really care.
NO. No more activities needed on this watch. There is Enough. Copy a profile. Just let them fix what we have.
I copied XC skiing, renamed to Inline Skate, and today I tried it. In Garmin Connect it's registered as XC Skiing. I guess that's logical, because I copied it from that. However in GC I can edit the activity and change it's Activity Type to Inline Skating.
Is there a way I can set up the activity so it knows to set the activity type to Inline Skating automatically?

I had been using Bike to record my Quad Skating, will try the XC Skiing renamed next. Thanks (Tx735)

And no, copying some existing activity and trying to tweak it to make up for Garmin being lazy is not a solution.
