Will Fenix 7 be ciq 4 device?

Hello the new untero isn't ciq4...or is ...

Is the Fenix 7 a ciq 4 device or still old ciq3.

Anyone know this?

I think the Fenix 6 is pretty much maxed out for features..that's why a new modal wasn't out this year. .

I will sell my f6x now...while prices are ok.

I just ordered a Casio 1000...

When f7 is out I'll be back

  • Garmin has made it sound like all devices moving forward will be CIQ 4, so I would assume yes, it'll be CIQ 4.

Strange decision to sell your Fenix 6x half a year or more before the next model comes out, but hey, you do you. I for one wouldn't want to subject myself to 6 months of using a Casio 1000 (whatever the heck that is) just so I can mitigate $50 worth of depreciation on my 6X. And you're going to get at least that much depreciation on your Casio anyways, so it's a wash. That sounds like a totally irrational move you've made, but again, you do you. Good luck

  • Look...I know these things.

The Casio 1000 is a good looking crappy workout watch...it has 8 features .

The Fenix is an ugly good workout watch.

I like looks ...sorry but I am just superficial.

Seriously, bet on eBay by mistake the Casio 1000...

The Fenix 7x will be 1100$ us funds.

    Touch screen nirvana watch

  • yes followinf the announce from Garmin regarding next generation watch.

But Fenix 6 will obtain some of the CIQ 4 features like other models in the past from 2 to 3 transition etc.

You sure about that? Because during the Garmin developers conference, they specifically said no existing models will get CIQ4, only new models going forward will have CIQ4.

In any case, CIQ4 isn't necessarily any better or worse than CIQ3. Mostly they're only making changes on the development side, but the user experience should be pretty much the same. Only exception is they're getting rid of standalone widgets, and making widgets part of an app instead.
