Fenix 6 iMessage notifications not working

I have a Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire, and I love it, everything works brilliant except for one thing. The notifications from iMessage or Text messages dont come up on my watch

Which is weird because everything else works, I get all my WhatsApp and every other app but just not messages

I tried turning notifications on and off again for messages on my iPhone but didnt help. My phone gets the notifications, like every other app, very weird!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tim_B_ thanks so much for this, that has resolved my problem. For anyone else with this issue, in the notification settings page of Messages on your iPhone you need to make sure your Show Previews option is set to Always. I had mine set to Never which is what was causing my text messages and iMessages not to show up on my Fenix 6.

It works also with "When unlocked" setting on my XS.
