Exceeded maximum number of workouts - can not remove workouts

I continue to get the 'exceeded maximum number of workouts' message on my fenix 6x sapphire. I understand there is a limit of 25 workouts storable on the watch. I have read other responses to this issue which suggest connecting to a computer and opening the garmin/workouts folder and deleting some. I do not have a garmin/workouts folder.

I've also tried looking in the connect.garmin.com workouts menu with the watch connected to the computer but only see one workout listed in 'my workouts'.

Can any one suggest a solution?

Got like 30gb on a watch and it can't handle more than 25 workouts... paying $1k for it...

I mean in what farking world is Garmin living - that they think this is an ok customer experience?

Do you mean activities or training sessions?

If you mean activities, you must have a folder in garmin/activities? Otherwise, I never heard that...

Workouts is under training

Can' t you see a list of workouts ( perhaps 25 of them)?

If so, you can select any of them and delete it

It’s helpful to understand they are different environments, thanks. On the watch directly I see more, but only 5 workouts in total.

Strange. The watch is what matters. In GC you can have many of them without problem. The limit is in the watch, but 5 is not relevant.

Perhaps any of them is corrupt?

You may delete them all ( in the watch) to see if it works.

If you have a Mac computer then you will need Android File Transfer (AFT) or similar to mount the watch folders - make sure Garmin Express is properly shut down before trying to use AFT.

Maybe there is some next level tech reason why its not possible to extend this? WHY? TELL ME GARMIN, HELP ME UNDERSTAND why this issue that has been around for yyyyyyyyyears, continues to be present?

It is so unbelievably woeful. FIX IT.

I couldn't agree more, it's about the dumbest thing in the watch, and this is a watch that will overstate your HR by 30 beats on a whim and disconnect your headphones while doing it.

To the OP, go through every activity type that you have on the watch and check in the training section. If you did a Garmin running program, that's probably where they are because those workouts get saved to the watch.

Hi! Your recorded workouts are stored on your watch in the "Activity" folder. Look there. I regularly (every month) just transfer them to the archive on the computer.

No, those are activities not workouts.
