Question about music storage

If I delete the Amazon app, does the music I had downloaded also get deleted?

I have a Mac and have tried Android File Transfer but when I plug in my F6 Pro, I get an error saying "Could not connect to device" (USB mode is MTP). I do have an M1 Mac and see that AFT is running via Rosetta so maybe that's the issue.

I can see how much storage I have for Connect IQ (via GCM and CIQ apps) but I assume music storage is in the larger pool along with maps and not in the 16MB allocated for CIQ.

Deleting a song from your watch when using Amazon Music, requires you to remove to remove the song from your Amazon playlist. There is not a way to delete a single song from the watch.

Thanks, Chris. I understand I can't delete songs from the watch and that's managed via playlists. I was just wondering if I want to stop using Amazon Music, will the music I've loaded be deleted automatically when I delete the CIQ app? Or do I have to remove the playlists first before I delete the app?

Make sure Garmin Express is fully shutdown and not running in the background.

Ah, ok, thanks, that did it. There was nothing in the music or podcasts folders and 19.7GB showed available (assuming what remains after maps), so it looks like deleting the Amazon and playrun apps deleted downloaded music and podcasts as well.
