Fenix 6X Pro - ClimbPro not showing and swithing Data screen

Hello, I planned a route in Garmin Connect. When I send the route to my watch, I can see climbs that are on my route, but when I'm actually cycling, Climb Pro recognizes the climb, but doesn't switch automatically to the Climb Pro Data screen. Is there any solution to this? It's really annoying because that's the point of Climb Pro - automatically recognizing climbs and switching the data screen on and off while you are on a climb.

Thanks for the comment. That would actually be helpful. I will test that tomorrow and then report if its working or not.

With the latest update 15.20 you will get an alert when you reach a climb, and it shows you the climb pro screen for a few seconds, but then it disappears, and you have to manually navigate to the climb pro screen if you want to use it.

It's a welcome improvement with the new update, but if the climbpro screen would turn on and stay on for the entire distance of the climb, that would be better...

Yep, it would. Annoying trying to remember whereabouts the Climbpro data screen is in relation to where you already are each time the alert pops up. However, the alert is better than nothing!

I'm loving the new alert, I never really wanted it to switch screens entirely during a climb, but the alert just pops up the climpro screen for a few seconds so I can see what kind of climb I'm starting, then goes back to the previous screen automatically. It's one of those functions I didn't know I needed, but now that I have it, I am so glad it's there. (Before, I had to occasionally scroll to the climbpro screen to see where the next climb is, which is something I rarely remembered to do)

PopUp/StayOn option for ClimbPro would certainly be the best solution for everyone. We will se how it develops in future updates...

hello, I am surprised that the climbpro rocking is not done automatically before each climb on the forerunner, Fenix and enduro ... it works well on the Edge

I meant the automatic screen change before every climb, without having to press a button.

Different people want different things, such is the nature of people!

Personally, I like that my Edge shows me the ClimbPro screen while going up climbs - gives me all the data I need, power targets if I'm going for it, and besides something to take my mind away from the pain!

Trail running/hiking however, less so. sometimes good to know ("how long does this bl**dy hill go on for?!") but generally used as an occasional reference for long climbs.. so for me works perfectly, with or without the alert depending on the exact usage scenerio.

Of course, an alert setting of either "none/pop-up/switch-to" would satisfy everyone.. so here's hoping.
