Body Battery Sync Between Fenix and Edge

Hey Everyone, quick question. I have a Fenix 6 and an Edge 830. I wear my Fenix 24/7 and use it to track strength training and some biking activities. I also have an 830 that I use for most of my riding activities. I also have Physio True-up (or whatever) turned on. However, it appears that the body battery metric does not take into account rides from the 830. If I ride with my Fenix tracking it drops quickly, as expected, but doesn’t from rides tracked with the 830.

I do find the BB data somewhat useful so I would like to know if there is a way to get this metric to recognize the 830 activities. On the BB, Connect app it does show I did an activity, but the actual numbers doesn’t seem to react to that activity. Any suggestions?

  • I wear the F6, and use my 830. The F6 picks up the post-ride stress for BB, and that works pretty well.

I think it helps to have Move IQ on, so that the watch recognizes you are cycling, even if you aren't recording on the watch.

  • Yeah that is interesting. I do the same setup and have Move IQ on. It looks like the watch is picking up the fact that I am cycling, but the BB metric just doesn't seem to respond as I would expect it to. For example, I did a pretty big and intense MTB ride on Sunday, over 2.5 hrs, and the BB dropped only 20 points. It just seems like the BB is dropping because the watch randomly picks up the high heart rate on my wrist, and not from the activity itself. But maybe I just expect a larger lose from an activity like that. I will keep monitoring it though!
