fenix x6 issue with zwift

is there a plan to connect my Garmin Fenix x6 to zwift !

I try to use the Virtual Run and active the broadcasts HR on, while I connect to my Huawei p40 pro mobile over Bluetooth to the Fenix x6 and runs Garmin mobile app to ensure its connected and then run Zwift.

i saw my name of mobile in the watch screen under in the app but, when I try to use the mobile app ( zwift) to connect to my watch it's just runs searching without finding my watch!

by the way, all the app permission is on and accepted.

any ideas!

Well, I assume that Zwift can't connect as long as ypur phone is connected. So disconnect or turn off Bluetooth on your phone.

I do this al the time and it works great, but not by starting a virtual run. I have set the Heart Rate Broadcast control to be available in the control "wheel" on the watch. So when I want to use my watch as HRM, I go to Controls, Hearth and press start. The watch start broadcasting HR data. In swift I pick it as HRM and off I go. For the the watch does not record anything, just broadcast HR. If I wanted to record I would use Indoor Cycling but for now I do no do it.

The F6 has been updated to be able to broadcast HR without the old virtual run trick.

if i switch off the bluetooth how the app will connect to my watch !

Is zwift running on your phone where you run the Garmin Connect app paired with the watch ? If so you may have to to kill the Connect app before you start zwift for it to work since the iPhone usually does not allow to apps tu use the same BT connection at the same time. For me zwift runs on my Apple TV so I don t have that issue

Also when debugging these issues make sure you really kill the apps zwift and connect and start from fresh, do not only let them run in the background. That won t release the connection. Go to app switcher and discard them proper.

i connect it successfully but when i run the man on the app not move or run !

I solved this issue going to Zwift App configuration on Android Phone, and enabled all permissions.

Specially "Discover nearby devices" permission.

After enabled all permissions, go back and start Zwift App and the watch was discovered fine.
