How to view Fenix 6 pro TopoActive maps on phone's Garmin Explore.

This would be a killer feature for me. Not having to look at the watch screen especially when showing others in my group which direction to hike in.

I noticed that the Topo maps I was able to download in Garmin Explore are NOT as content rich as the TopoActive maps which are also viewable in my pc through the Garmin Basecamp app.

If I had TopoActive maps on my phone though, that would be stellar.

I don’t know for TopoActive Americas maps, but it is not available in the Explore phone app for TopoActive Europa maps

I have requested this already a lot of times for the TopoActive Europe maps without success. And I have suggested, that a from a user purchased special Garmin Topo map like Topo Germany pro v9 etc. should be available in the Explore app for the buyer, too.

Ok I'm glad im not alone here. This is such an annoyance. If im logged into Garmin Explore with my garmin fenix 6 pro related account I don't understand why I can't use the topoActive maps included with my garmin , on my phone!!!

The Explore app maps are very low quality. Even their OpenStreetMap is very outdated and lack tons of details that are available on OSM. The whole point of having this map linked to the watch is to be able to look at a bigger and better map, not a crappier one. They have to provide quality maps in the Explore app. Same goes for the Earthmate app which is very similar.

Going to bring an old thread back to life here.

As an owner of multiple Garmin Fenix watches and inReach devices, I'd REALLY like to be able to have the same map on my Garmin Explore phone app as I have on my Fenix 7X SS.

As others have noted below, it's a much more detailed map and I'd like to see it on a bigger screen if I have to navigate.

Heck, I'd even pay extra for this option if it were available, or buy the Talky Toaster maps if I could put them on Explore?

Anyone have more recent information about this?
