It is right in the Fenix 6 Manual:
FĒNIX 6 PRO SERIES OWNER'S MANUAL - Specifications
Operating and storage temperature range |
From -20º to 45ºC (from -4º to 113ºF) |
---|
I've done trail runs with temperatures below -20°C with the F6 outside of my jacket without any issues. At some point below -20 I would be more worried about myself in case of an accident or something…
I ski with my Fenix 6 titanium in -20 Celsius with no issue. Watch is under my jacket sleeve.

Even in the most extreme conditions, the watch's internal temperature rarely drops below 10 Celsius when the wearer's bare skin is in contact with the back of the watch.
If you are wearing the watch over your jacket sleeve, then temperature extremes are more likely to cause issues.
If you are sleeping in a tent, I recommend wearing the watch at night or if you must remove it, keep it inside your sleeping bag.
Did I read this correctly? The temperature might go UP to -20 degrees and not drop to -20? If it's correct, stay home. :)
