Tactix Delta - Solar Edition with Ballistics. Minimum lighting 5% is too strong in the dark. 1-5% are missing in 1% steps up to 5%. Permanent minimal lighting is very important in use! Can this be corrected? thanks !

    I agree it is not optimal.  There is a big gap in utility between 5% (too bright) and Night Vision Mode (too dark without NVG).

    It would be nice to see 1% incremental light settings between 1% and 5%, but it is not currently available.  In fact, I have brought this to Garmin's attention since I purchased my tactix Bravo in February, 2016 - the only response I ever received was that it was not available.

    The more of us who formally report this desired feature to Garmin, the better the chance that it may be introduced in the future, so you could send your idea to Garmin here: Send Ideas to Garmin but I would not expect a response any time soon...

    For completely different reason I agree with you: I’d prefer something lower than 5% brightness for the dark.

    Light perception is non linear. It’s expressed in Ev. To perceive half the light you basically need a quarter of the emitted light. That is why with a linear scale that’s little difference between say 15% and 20% and you definitely need something around 2%.
