fenix 6 does not show heart rate from hrm dual chest rate.

Do you get the sensors wet just when you put the strap on ?
I had a HRM run before and never had to do it at that time, but I need to apply some water on the HRM dual sensors if I want it to turn on instantly, as quick as the HRM run did.
If I don't, it will turn on eventually but only when I start sweating :)

i found with my VA3, i often would have to go into the sensors menu and connect it (check it was connected). I have been dubious about whether it's connected with my Fenix 6  which I got last week, as I did a run and walk back to back and it wasn't until I finished the walk that it showed external HRM connected in the notifications. VA3 always used to tell me it was connected when I went to start a new activity (fenix 6 hasn't yet) - but I always used to make sure it was connected in the sensors menu first. Going to try this with my Fenix today. 
I can't be sure whether it's connected with the fenix because the optical wrist sensor is much better than the VA3 one!

Yes i get the sensors wet .

I try it today for my first Run ( hrm dual + fenix 6). 

I pair again the hrm with the watch, i disable the hr from the wrist i press the start button and start running. I did almost 45 to 50 minutes Run and the sensor was OK but when i start sprinting the watch turned off suddenly.

I turn on the watch again and pair again the hrm. Its a total mess for me the whole experience with garmin until now too bad.

I can not find what the problem is.

You don’t need to disable wrist. Have you tried removing the sensor; off/on with the watch? Or soft reset?

From yesterday already i ve made 2 soft resets and one Hard reset to the watch. 

Still the same when i pair the hrm with the watch only shows the heart rate for 5 sec. 

I tried also not to disable the wrist heart rate but when i pair the hrm nothing happens for 3 or 4 minutes and After that heart rates shown for only 5 sec again and then Just - -.

Last thing i m thinking to do is to reset the hrm monitor. 

I found the only way to see my heart rate to my watch but not for such long as i expected. 

I have to click the option broadcast heart  rate. But only for about 30 minutes and After that i have to pick again the same option for another 30 minutes.but this option kills the battery really fast.

For example i choose to Run i put  hrm on my chest i pair it mith my watch when its paired i wait a little bit and i instead of showing heart rates continuous it only shows for 5 sec and then nothing.

I start the excersice and only if i choose the option of broadcast heart rate it shows the heart rate to my watch, and only for 20 minutes.

When i rest and try to see the heart rate from hrm dual same happens shows only for 5 sec. 

I pair the hrm dual with an other fenix 6 same thing happen. 

Unpair the strap.

Take the battery out of the HRM-Dual.

Put it in reversed for a few seconds.

Replace it the right way.

Re-pair to the watch.

Make sure the strap is fully wetted (I use warm water) before putting it on.

Start an activity.

Test.

If still not working contact Garmin Support.
