fenix 6x menus lag

Good morning everyone. I have recently gone from 5x to 6x. The widgets, activities, settings and shortcuts take me 3 or 4 seconds to appear. If I re-enter any option before 10 seconds, it is immediate, but from there, slow again. Is this delay normal?
there is nothing installed in the watch.
the face of the watch is the garmin series.
I have already done a hard reset.

Regrettably, the solution I found was invalid. The whole clock very slow on the first press.

Try restoring the watch to factory defaults, aka hard reset.

Same issue here. Just received a brand new 6X pro and the 3-4 seconds lag is there. I had a 6 pro before and I never saw that lag.

A few days ago I published an entry and today I don't see it ... I guess I did something wrong ... In this, it said that the problem persisted. The damn 4 seconds. I contacted Garmin and have to send them the watch. However, I don't think all of us in this chat have it broken, I think it's a versioning problem.

I sent my fenix 6x to garmin and they changed it. I arrive with version 11.20 and without the lag. I updated to 13.10. The lag has disappeared. Now I have a bunch of widgets and they pop up instantly.

Do you mean to fix the lag Garmin must replace the watch ? That would be a huge bummer.

I think the same as you. However, it has been the only solution proposed by Garmin that has worked. Before that I tried everything..reset, hard reset, factory settings .... It seems like a software problem, not a hardware issue, so I share your surprise

If that's the case it could be that the "long press" detection has a hardware component to it and that can be defective. I will wait an update or two to see if that issues goes away and if not I way have my watch replaced then. It is annoying but not enough to replace immediately.
