Hi!
I saw somewhere a picture of a fenix 6 (I think it's the 6X) displaying 8 data fields.
Can you post a picture of it showing the 8 fields? I would like to know if it's too small or readable.
Thank you and happy holidays!

The 8 fields are looking great even on the F6 Pro
Erm, you only get 6 fields on the F6; only the F6X models have the 8 fields option.

Here's a screenshot of what the 8 data field screen looks like on my 6x Pro:
Ignore the curved element on the left of the screen, that's only there during screen setup.
As to whether all the fields you want would fit, that's another matter. For simple data, all fields should be fine, but graph and gauge data may only fit in the topmost and bottommost fields.

A simplistic answer is yes it’s readable. If you are happy with the size/form of the 6X variant, then it is preferable to the 6 or 6s from a screen visibility perspective generally (simple physics - the 6X has a physically bigger screen and more pixels). I’d say most standard data fields are perfectly readable on the 8 fields data screen on the 6X, more so than the 6 data field option on my MARQ Athlete (which has the same screen size/pixels as the 6S). What is more of a challenge is remembering which data field you put in which place; during a quick glance at the watch during an activity you need to instinctively know which box has the information you want. That’s why I find the 7 data field option preferable, as it’s easier to direct your eyes to the right box, due to the variance in box shape/size down the screen.
(in case anyone asks, the 6X Pro solar backlight is on a much lower setting than the MARQ)
I need to wear reading glasses for short distance work - watch, phone, laptop. Even so, I can make it the information on the watch with eight fields displayed, without my glasses, at least when walking, if not running.
The 8 fields are looking great even on the F6 Pro No problem to read having my bike trips for example...

Please find displayed. It is readable, however as already stated here, you should know where to look for particular information, I mean where is that exact datafield placed on the screen. Hope it helps
