Map screen is not showing in Walking activity app

Hi,

The other day I had to reset to default settings my Garmin Fenix 6 because the Walking activity app wasn't showing the map screen. I had this walking activity configured to capture normal GPS without Glonass or Galileo alternatives. In menu-> settings-> Apps & Activities -> Walk...you could see the map screen showing there. If you press the App&Activities button and access to the settings for Walk->Data screens; you could see that there were a number of screens whereby the map screen was one of them but you couldn't access to the map screen because it was skipping the map screen by jumping from one data screen to another. Then, if you start the Walk activity, if wasn't any map screen among the configured screens. I started Walk activity and it captured the GPS signal and created the route which is shown in my Garmin Connect.

Also, I had a copy of the Walk activity which was configured with a power mode which doesn't use GPS signal at all. I made sure that the normal Walk activity wasn't using this power mode. I have even changed the GPS signal to GPS+Glonass in the normal Walk activity and started the activity again. I mean, I made sure both configurations weren't interfering one with another.

Could anyone advice of the possible cause? Or maybe do we see here a possible bug?

I will recreate the same scenario and hopefully it is a mistake using the Garmin settings.
