Battery drain is horrendous after the 13.10 update! The battery drained 20% in 1 hour with no activities being recorded. I tried reset to factory settings. See how that goes. Very poor update. Garmin Fenix S Pro here.

For years I've always found my watch will drain battery faster than usual (forerunners and now Fenix). A few years back, after trial and error, I've found that after new update, if I switch off the watch…
I solved this issue according to this recommendation. Removing related file solved it, now I have magnificent battery life as far as I tested. In 24 hours with 1.5 hour running activity + heart rate sensor…
Same for me. The update went fine. Suddenly after charging the fenix, I do have a battery drain: 30% during the night in battery mode. Normal was 1-2%. It is strange because the update was a few weeks…
Hello, all I am still having same issue I have done everything listed in this forum. Still battery is draining very fast. I have fenix 6x saphire. I have had fenix 5x and fenix 5x+ previously, this drain is very unussualy and notice the issue months ago after update. With that said after reading everyones post it's seems to be a blue tooth issue. Also I noticed something when running and listening to music from my PHONE it counts off each mile. This is weird as I'm not connected to any other application on my phone and only happens when using my garmin watch.
I believe this may be connected to the high batter drain, problem is I don't know what this feature is on the garmin or garmin app. I have looked everywhere (maybe). I believe this feature is the cause of the high battery drain due to the continual connection.
Just to clarify the counting miles counts off into my headphones and through my phone and is not connected to the watch but my phone....
In the Mobile app, click your watch icon to go in the Device settings, then Activity Options, then Audio Prompts. Turn them off if you don't want lap alerts.
Edit to say this might be slightly different on IOS, the above is on Android.
For what it's worth I used this feature for a year at least to announce every 8 minutes without any issues.
With that said. it does feel like this update has a slightly higher burn rate for me. Nothing to the extent some people are reporting but subjectively enough that I'm recording the actual percentage and I'll check it again in 24+ hours without any activities and break out the calculator to get the average burn rate for that time frame.
11% in 22 hours, roughly double historical burn rate for me with 13.10 versus pretty much every prior FW.
so batery drain continues, 3h40min of biking, 6x battery down from 99% to 51%
Same issue here with higher than normal. Use stock watchface. Noticed today that when I went into GC move iq was set to on which was never like that before. Everything else the same for me and maybe that was it.
So it is 100 percent has to do with the Bluetooth and phone (not sure if it phones fault or garmin watch fault but I have fenix 5x+ and do not have this problem) I would advise everyone do all the different resets and PLEASE send garmin support your experience so they fix it. In the mean time the best temporary fix is to turn off the phone connection for everyday use until they fix it.......
Going to test this today and see what happens. I usually have phone connected and gc running on my phone.
well I have move IQ off and drain still persists :-)
Just an idea and I do think it is BT connection. I have had iphone 8 with same 13.7 fw for a while now and noticed it getting worse as well
I went for a 3 mile run after disconnecting BT via gps only (smart recording) and it only went down 1%. I have wifi upload still on. Will report back tomorrow as I think w/o GC and BT my battery will be fine.
To clarify I have the F6X
