Battery drain is horrendous after the 13.10 update! The battery drained 20% in 1 hour with no activities being recorded. I tried reset to factory settings. See how that goes. Very poor update. Garmin Fenix S Pro here.

For years I've always found my watch will drain battery faster than usual (forerunners and now Fenix). A few years back, after trial and error, I've found that after new update, if I switch off the watch…
I solved this issue according to this recommendation. Removing related file solved it, now I have magnificent battery life as far as I tested. In 24 hours with 1.5 hour running activity + heart rate sensor…
Same for me. The update went fine. Suddenly after charging the fenix, I do have a battery drain: 30% during the night in battery mode. Normal was 1-2%. It is strange because the update was a few weeks…
Same here... On 12.20 I could use my watch for over a week without charging it. On 13.10 battery doesnt last more than 4 days! Really really annoying and frustrated about this issue... 800 euros watch, its just mad
I have reset to default settings but battery problem persists... There is defo something wrong with this update, I hope Garmin release a stable version sooner rather than later tbh
deleting the activities did not help.
Same drain persists, contacted garmin, no response yet.
I have stop the sync with deezer and actualy it's ok.
I experienced battery drain today during work. iPhone in pocket or on on my desk nearby watch. Nothing special. But I had many Skype/teams meeting and using my Bluetooth headset connected to computer and iPhone not the watch.
My thought is that BT radio in Fenix 6 is over sensitive and listening to all traffic and wake the processor to decode and this consumes a lot of battery.
Does that sound like a possible cause of battery drain?
I notice a drain on my 6X Pro as well. I think in my case it is/was related to Wifi and the watch trying to connect to my Wifi to sync music (and fails to connect).
Normal wifi test via the android app fails as well, the WPA2 PSK hasn't changed and the wifi is working great with other devices.
After a poweroff it now syncs OK again. And the drain seems to have stopped for now. I will charge the watch now and see what happens.
Indeed this WiFi story can explain a lot of things.
Where does this battery info come from?
I had the same issue, been using the watch for a while now but when I charged it yesterday it was down to 39% a day later, funny thing tho, it then stayed at 39% all day (admittedly I did a power cycle when I saw it at 39%).
It's now charging again and I will see how it reacts tomorrow.
Just to provide an update, after charging the watch 3 days ago I'm now down to 91% remaining, a simple reboot fixed my battery issues.
My F6Xpro also works well since that powercycle.
Correct, technicians and devs also like *positive* feedback ;-)
