Battery drain is horrendous after the 13.10 update! The battery drained 20% in 1 hour with no activities being recorded. I tried reset to factory settings. See how that goes. Very poor update. Garmin Fenix S Pro here.

For years I've always found my watch will drain battery faster than usual (forerunners and now Fenix). A few years back, after trial and error, I've found that after new update, if I switch off the watch…
I solved this issue according to this recommendation. Removing related file solved it, now I have magnificent battery life as far as I tested. In 24 hours with 1.5 hour running activity + heart rate sensor…
Same for me. The update went fine. Suddenly after charging the fenix, I do have a battery drain: 30% during the night in battery mode. Normal was 1-2%. It is strange because the update was a few weeks…
@reittila That is lucky then
I have disabled the "garmin email" notifications in connect app.
I also left in notification access in GC only calls, gmail, WA, calendar, contacts and dialer and garmin connect, a few others I removed.
BT is still on. Overnight battery level at last stayed on 53%.
Maybe try to play with that. Battery during activity, I plan to test in the afternoon when I go biking.
Will see.
It doesent count. The update occurs only when calling
Same problem with 6S pro solar since 12.20 ...
I am having the same issue on a 6 Pro Sapphire. The battery drain was fine up until the latest update, not now is significantly worse, even in standard smart watch mode with a native watch face.
FredWest38 3704102 I have to say that after the reset to default settings the watch is performing as before (I only have it since 3rd December) and I am not seeing the issues I had for the past few days. I have the standard watch face/widgets and have not installed 3rd party stuff. For the last 5 hours it has gone from 100% down to 96% with a live tracking/GPS of around 50 min during that time.

A few years back, after trial and error, I've found that after new update, if I switch off the watch, then turn back on, the battery drain doesn't happen. I know do this religiously after each update.
so did a re-set to defaults (with 13.10) , while setting up the watch, and syncing it with the phone, I lost somewhere around 20% of battery.
This is CRAZY, trying to downgrade to 12.20 and lets see.
And no response from anyone from garmin here on the forum or looks like Garmin just does not give a ........

The only way to be sure Garmin is aware (and they probably are) is by contacting them directly.
FWIW since there are reports of increased battery down following any update it seems there is little to be gained by going back to an earlier version.

This is no indication of a problem. Report back after a few days of normal use.
