Jabra Elite Active 75t - frequent dropouts during running for some songs from Spotify

Hi,

anyone else experiences music dropouts with Jabra 75t? I have some running playlists from Spotify and some songs play without any dropouts and some will dropout ever 5-10s. Like if it was dependent on bit rate?

The headphones connect without problem and stay connected but you'd simply not hear any music for 2s then goes back to playing .. then silence again and like that over and over again on some songs but some other songs have no dropouts at all.

Any ideas?

Is it only Jabra? Have you tried other headphones?

If not, or the issue is not headphone specific, I’d start by wiping out downloaded songs, restarting the device, and downloading the playlists again. The song cache is shared between playlists, so you’ll need to nuke them all. Re-install Spotify for good measure too.

Low battery on either watch or Jabra? Does the dropout occurs when the arm pendles behind your hip?

I'm using 75t (not Active).

Have had _few_ problems (not to the extent where I'm annoyed), but some weird "bitrate" issues have occurred, were the quality seem low for a short moment. From what I can recall, this have usually happened when music + feedback from watch have "played" at the same time. Haven't still made a logic behind it as I haven't used the watch as source of music that much (yet).

I wear my watch on my right hand while running, so I might have better connection as the BT signal wont have to travel "through" my body.

Maybe worth a try for you – maybe not permanent, but to see if it changes how it behaves.

Marubel, I’ve had that problem when I’ve connected my Jabras to a second device. If you’re running with your phone, but have the headphones paired to your watch for music playback, make sure that they are not also connected to your phone and see if the problem isn’t resolved.

I was not because of battery or phone connection. I'll try redownloading the files.

Hi,

The same happens to me with Jabra 65t. (running without phone)

However I found it is mainly due to chest strap interferences. If I take out the chest band, the dropouts basically dissapear. Are you running with chest strap?

True that without chest strap things worked better for me.

However, after more tests and combinations (wrist, sequence, with/w/o chest strap...) I would swear the droputs are linked to the Bluetooth SW 6.06.

After rolling back to BT 5.04 the amount of dropouts dissapeared (although I only tried one activity so far)

Bumping this, got same problem with my marq2 adv. anyone found any solutions? (when running with red band and spotify) drops out
