My Vo2 max number doesn’t correspond with the correct colour and level of fitness.

I’ve noticed my Vo2 max fitness age has changed on the GC since the latest update 13.10. My Vo2 max number has stayed the same (47 - 39 year old male) but what I have discovered is that upon research I should be in the Superior (blue) but it’s always said Good (green). Can anyone tell me if this is right?

Thank you for the reply, I could not find that page. I looked up a generic chart. I suppose turning 40 has some benefit then as I jump up a level and become excellent!

At the start of my run this morning I got the 13.10 update notification. At the end of my run, my V02 max kicked up a point (it was close already), but per my fitness age I got 9 years older.

I noticed the same thing, my VO2 Max stayed the same, but I was 10 years older. I agree the figure isn’t too important but when my mates say how old they’re feeling I like to flash my fitness age and snigger about being around 30 years younger than I am

As a cyclist using a power meter my VO2max figures seen to be trending as expected as I recover from illness. I've gone up three points in the space of a week and +32W on my FTP as fitness returns. This is on a mix of firmware 12.77b and 13.10.

Real age = 58, fitness age = 33. That'll do for starters. Hopefully I'll be back to 20 soon. :-)

As for running VO2max, no idea. I haven't run outdoors for months, barely indoors either, due to knee injury and the above illness.
