Garmin Devices don't record GPX-Files. They record FIT-Files. You find them in the activity Folder.
Thanks
Can I use Basecam with my new Fenix ?
I used basecamp with my old fenix, it was very useful.
Yes, you can use Basecamp.
I use "Garmin Explore" on my Android phone.
Thanks
Why can't I see de track that was recorded in the watch with Basecamp ?
Do you know a software to convert a Fit-File to Gpx File ?
I use Basecamp with my Fenix 6 and Instinct just fine.
Basecamp works but I can't see in Basecamp the activities there is in the Fenix 6 Pro.
I can send files from Basecamp to the fenix 6 Pro.
The files sent are in the Garmin, Courses directory and the format *.fit.
Theses Tracks are located in the Track Tab (Parcours) in the Fenix 6 Pro.
I like Basecamp because it offline software.
Bye
Hello,
Below is a screenshot of Basecamp (Fenix connected to USB) with a previous activity (run) shown on the map. I have done nothing to convert the .fit file into any other format, it just works just like it does with any other Garmin device that's compatible with Basecamp. I have used a GPSMap 64st, Instinct, FR945, and now a Fenix 6 with Basecamp.
I can also export the track to a .gpx file from Basecamp.
