How can I set an activity for motorcycling? (Fenix 6x)

I see that motorcycling is a valid activity type, I can set an activity to be motorcycle after the fact in connect. Here I show the pulldown menu to change from the default "OTHER" to "Motorcycling".

Is there a motorcycling app I can use on the watch? (I was using a repurposed navigation app). Or is there a way to change the recorded activity type in the app to be Motorcycling by default?

From the Activities menu, add a new activity (the +Add option at the bottom) and then select Copy Activity and select Bike (for example), and then rename it as you prefer. Then change the Routing >> Activity to Motorcycle. Make any other changes to this new activity, and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the reply. That was news to me. I thought that "routing" determined how the watch would guide you from point A to point B. I tried this change though, and the default categorization (shown in the pulldown in the image I shared) was still "other". I can change the category in the saved activity, but I still haven't succeeded in having it created with a default category of Motorcycling.

Yeah...sorry for the wild goosechase. I was mistaken about that setting - thanks for testing it though!

Hi, did you ever figure this out, easy enough to start a new manual activity as motorcycling but no obvious way to save it for reoccurring use, would be fine to buy the paid app shown below but not as an ongoing annual fee.
