7 day training load not updating in connect

Hi Guys

This issue seems to have been around a year ago and I’m having it now, looks like its back. 
Fenix 5X Plus, Edge 820. 
have had 2 big rides with high TSS but my training load shows it’s remained at 130 for 3 days in a row and I’m in Recovery. That’s just not possible with the amount of riding I’ve been doing. Last ride said I must recover for 62hrs but there was. It change in the 7 day training load and switch me from Productive to recovery.

Anyone else having the issue?

  • Hi, I have (partly) the same issue. Training load seems to be updating after a activity with my Fenix 5 plus, but unfortunately not after an activity with my Edge 820; only the recovery time is updated, trainingstatus and training load are not..

  • Same here, recovery time updates but not training load from the 820 onto the Fenix. 
    I have reset my watch fro Factory and reloaded everything, but it takes a week of use for the training load. 4 days to go. Will post an update here of the results.

  • Just started having this issue, though can see the up to date value in the app, but if you click on it, the graph is out of date.

  • Same here. I think it is related to the "training status" and  "VO2MAX" issues reported elsewhere in the forum.

  • An update from my side; the only way I found on solving this issue properly and long term was to stop using one of the units. This was partly due to time constraints and the time already sunk into trying to find a long lasting solution. 
    So I am no longer using the 820, only the Fenix and got bike mounts for the Fenix. It works for my needs at this stage so I am happy with it as is for now. 
    Actually saved me some cash as I was going to buy a 1030 as my 820 is on it's last legs as far as battery is going.

    Please define "stopped using", did you remove it from connect?

    I noticed I have still there a old watch which I sold long ago, obviously does not synk anything to my connect account but it's there, and to memory connect web says there's data pending to sync, to memory mentions "sleep true up" and the account no longer being able to manage multiple devices (even if not actively syncing as in my case)

    In case, this could be a issue related to true up, and... Could be very valuable information to the people trying to figure out where the issue is!

    I'll check as soon as I can if it still says "sync pending", or if anything changed

    UPDATE:

    No does not want to true up any sleep data anymore, but it tells me that there are 2 elements pending to sincronize, mentions calendar (listing all the workouts I have now sinced to the current watch) and "change log" ( ??? )

    In any case... seems he's waiting for something from the old watch, or wants to send something to it (thouhg it is obviusly not selected as preferre activity tracker)

    P.S.:

    sorry if any of the functions / connect sections I mention could have a wrong name in English, my connect is in Italian and I am translating as I can Slight smile

  • I have deleted the 820 unit from connect and no longer use it at all. You make a good point in the unit still being on the system, however, I don't think that was the issue my side as my Fenix details always updated my stats but the 820 workouts stopped updating them.
