Huawei Band 4 (30 USD) VS Fenix 6x Pro (750 USD) VS Medical SPO2 Device

I've been using Garmin watches since 2017 and i like Garmin eco system. But spo2 measurements need some improvements. That's my 3rd Garmin watch with spo2 sensor (FR 245, VA4, Fenix 6x pro) and all of them had problems with measuring pulse ox. I think it shouldn't be too hard to edit the algorithm as just increasing it around %4.

  • I've been wearing both devices to compare sleep, HR, pulse ox etc. And i use medical spo device to check their SPO accuracy;

    Resting HR: Garmin is better due to constant sampling (Huawei doesn't record 1 sec HR intervals.)
    Workout HR: Garmin is better hands down. Huawei rarely shows 120+ for interval workouts.
    Sleep Measurement: They are nearly the same. They both catch my sleep and awake times but of course stages vary a little.

    SPO2 Measurements: Huawei is far better. It quickly measures and takes continuous spo2 samples for about 1 minute. It takes long time for Garmin to measure and sometimes it misses. Also it takes only 1 time measurement not continuous like Huawei. And the result is most of time low around %4-%5.
