Fenix 5x vs 6 pro solar? Worth the upgrade?

I currently have a Fenix 5x, works ok so far and i have no problem with it.

My main "wish list" is the size (would be nice its a little smaller), and the battery last me about 10 days max.

The 6 pro solar now has basically everything from the 6x pro solar, except for the screen and battery size. The 6 pro solar has a nice list of update compare to the 5x (smaller size, a little bigger screen, power management, Ox sensor, etc). The solar is nice to have, but not the deciding factor.

I am still thinking if I should upgrade from 5x to 6 pro solar? Anybody did that upgrade? Worth it?

    Hey ! Nice to see you there !
    I consider worth the upgrade from 5X to a Fenix 6 non solar. Solar on the Fenix is really a gimmick. No sapphire solar on the F6 (only on the Tactix Delta).
    It is great on the Instinct which got wider solar panels but on a Fenix 6 it is really for marketing and getting "solar" on the box. Non Solar F6 with their 260x260 screen resolution and smaller package are more than enough in term of battery life and worst the upgrade from the chunky 240x240 Fenix 5X. IMHO. ;-)

    • I’d wait for 7 at this point, especially if you’re fine with the one you have now.
