It's been accurate for 9 months, but since 13.10, not at all. Even jumped from 80 to 140bpm on a short walk yesterday.
HR is still not entirely accurate and think Garmin has done all it can with the current sensor technology unfortunately. You need to be wearing it not too loose but not too tight and it takes around 30…
My heart rate monitoring used to be very good, and very accurate compared to a strap monitor. But since v13.10 of the software it's been reading very high. Frustrating.
