Normally I wear my Apple Watch to track sleep but last night I decided to try out my Fenix 6 Sapphire instead. Worked well in the Connect app but this morning it failed to sync correctly to Apple Health. It synced all of the Light, Deep, and Awake cycles, but it failed to sync any of the REM cycles instead logging them as periods of no sleep in Apple Health. I confirmed that the exact missing periods are corresponding to the REM cycles. Because of this my sleep data was shorter by roughly 1.5 hours in Apple Health than in Connect. This is clearly a bug in the data sync and needs to be fixed.
Could somebody from Garmin please advise when this will be addressed?
