Older beta fenix6 firmware download

Please direct link for older beta releases for fenix6 (non PRO or 6X). From Garmin is latest only. I can't find anywhere. Thanks.

I’m sure someone can chip in with a link, but you might need to be specific about which version you want to get.

The other thing you might want to consider is that the only thing you can “downgrade” is the main software, the component/peripheral software cannot be rolled back as far as I know. I have seen a few people posting on the beta threads wishing to go back to an earlier main software version, as they felt an earlier version gave better WHR performance for them; the thing is, WHR is likely more to do with the sensor hub software than the main software, so rolling back just the main software might not get you back to the ‘good old days’ you were hoping for.

I have better specified F6 version in the first post.

I thought that there are also next files for downgrade in the zip file like Sensor Hub or GPS. Or these cannot be downgraded?

No, you can also downgrade the individual components.

However, it is essential to ensure that the individual components also match the respective main software. For example, Garmin introduced the sleep widget with a later firmware. But a new sensor hub has been introduced for this. Older sensor hub versions do not support this function.

You should be careful with any type of such experiment. There may be unwanted side effects.

So I'm just saying that it is possible. Of course, I am not responsible for any damage.

In any case, a downgrade leads to the loss of all user data.

Are you sure? Whenever I’ve tried to do it, the watch just ignores the install file if it’s an older version.

Yes

connect the watch to the computer, copy the file (side software file) into the remote sw folder.
