I have the Triathlon Bike Quick Release kit for my Forerunner 935 and it's a great way of attaching the watch for riding. Works a treat.

I'm considering buying a Fenix 6 Pro and wish to continue using the watch in the same way with the bike but it seems that the FR935 bike device is fractionally the wrong size for the Fenix - it's like a tiny fraction of a millimetre that it doesn't fit. I'm aware that there is a similar kit for the Fenix 6 (with attachments for the 6s and 6x) but it's $50AUD and all I need is the one piece from it.

Has anybody managed to modify or take a knife to shave a bit off FR935 kit to make it work? Or does anyone know of an alternative device which isn't $50 for a small piece of moulded plastic?
