Cannot Disable Suggested Workouts

I'm trying to disable the Suggested Workouts feature that came with the latest firmware update to the fenix 6. According to Garmin, this procedure should work:

However, I don't have an enable/disable prompt at all. So now I'm forced to reject a workout that I don't want to do before I can go for a bike ride or run. This is pretty annoying. Anyone else seen this issue on their watch?

BTW, I don't even know what the watch is training me for? A 5K, an Ironman? I have my own workout plan that is going just fine and the suggestions from the watch are not helping.

You can't disable the suggestion when it's a rest suggestion. Retry when you will get an other suggestion.

When will that happen? It only ever tells me to rest.

Your weekly training load or training load focus is probably too high, so the watch suggests you to rest

Hmm.... 35 miles/week of running and I feel totally fine. I guess I have to take a week off to make the watch shut up.

Following up.... recovery hours down to zero, watch still suggests that I rest. I've contacted Garmin Support, but they refuse to believe that Suggested Workouts cannot be disabled when Rest is the suggestion.

I can't get any of the suggested workouts to go away. I just want to do my own thing, hit start and go.

I also do not get a prompt to disable/enable and mine show "rest" everyday.

Just spitballin' hear but a global fitness suggestion toggle should depend on first click start/run or start/ride. Just a setting to disable suggestions please, somewhere in settings.

Anyone figure this "rest" unable to disable problem?

This only went away for me with the latest beta firmware.
