Hello, I am in need of an upgrade as my current Epix watch is slow to acquire a position. I am very involved in various boating and sailing adventures so I am interested in the Quatix 6 Titanium which is Sapphire or the Fenix 6 Pro Titanium Sapphire. My comparisons seem to have these as close to identical models. Now I must determine which. So my question is what software is each using. So if I had the Quatix and the Fenix software is updated would I get it on the Quatix at the same time. I am asking in general for overall support of the product. My Epix was abandoned up until Garmin came out with an update about the same time that the Fenix 5 came out and then nothing of any major note since then. So if there were an issue specific to the Quatix could it go unresolved while Garmin pushed forward on Fenix. I was able to find the following for the Fenix https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=15031 which indicates the current version as 12.2. I have not been able to find a similar reference for the Quatix. I am leaning towards the Quatix but if I learn that this are different then I may go to Fenix. As the Quatix will connect to devices on the boat can anyone answer if the Fenix will?
