backlight gesture

Hi, I posted a few days ago about my backlight gesture suddenly not working on my Fenix 6.

Has anyone heard from Garmin about when they are going to have a fix for this?

Hi Garmin, I know you monitor this site, can you post when this issue will be resolved please, surely it shouldn't take this long!

Delete and re-create the applicable power mode.

When does the problem occur? Within sleeping hours? The gesture seems to be disabled within the configured sleeping hours even if the user is awake.

There is no applicable power mode. It seems to have happened post recent update

All times. Have turned gesture on/off for both During and Not During activity.

This problem has been posted before on this forum and mcalista gave you the solution. You need to go to settings, delete power mode that you are using and create that same power mode again. This should fix your problem, as per earlier posts.

Yep. Issue I've got as well. Will test out deleting power mode.

I've just started seeing this issue myself.

* Checked Power mode, nothing changed.

* Backlight gesture is on for both during and not during activity.

* DND is turned off.

* Not in "sleep" mode.

I found (and I think someone mentioned it here) that the only way to get it work again is to turn off backlight gesture completely then turn it back on again. I'm not having near the issues that others are seeming to have with v.12, but this is an annoying one - and started seemingly out of nowhere. I've been on v.12 since the day I bought the watch (6 pro, purchased 1 month ago) and only just started having the issue this morning.

yes it has, I have no power modes on my watch other than those that come as standard and cannot by deleted.

I still have the problem and have had for a number of weeks.

hi, I’ve done the on/off thing many times-it has worked in the past when this occurred but doesn’t seem to with this occurrence
