Track Run - how to get benefit from it?

Oh, and of course you need to select the "Track Run" activity profile. Normal "Run" won't do anything.

wow, shame on me, I have decided for some reason any Run can automatically recognises real circle track and this feature will do his magical job. 

So, I need to select other activity named Track Run? It seems today I need to run again ;)

Aaand? How it goes? Could You send here the result on 200m track? Last run on 400m stadium I got excellent RESULT, but on 200m track i got this MISERY. And yes of course I know, that track run is suited for 400m oval.

First run on 400m and 12.20SW is HERE. There is visible, that the first four calibration rounds are not as good, as the others. But the next run after calibrating was excellent.

Is anybody next here, who use Track run on 200m oval? I would be interested in the accuracy of others.

GARMIN, is this true, what dc rainmaker sayed in his REVIEW? Because I got very bad tracking on 200m oval. Sometimes after 4th lap the counting stucks at about 790m and continued after next 60 meters...

"Garmin says that it takes approximately two laps for them to work out the details of your track. They also say their algorithm can correctly detect any track as long as it has two parallel straightaways, and either a single or double-radius curve at two ends."

it is quite possible that you need to remove the calibration laps that you made for the 400m track before you switch to a 200m track. There are instructions elsewhere about where to delete the calibration laps.

Once you've removed those, recalibrate and save for the 200m track.

This should not be necessary unless the geographical location of the 200m track overlaps the geographical location of the 400m track

You’re right, but not for the right reason. Found this from Garmin:

“ An intentional calibration of the Track Run profile is recommended every time you run at a track you have not run on before.  The Track Run profile is able to store track calibration for up to 10 different tracks.  Calibrating at every new track ensures the most accurate track run data.”

This is an interesting function, but when training on a track with others it is recommended to run the slow pauses on the outer lane, not to hinder other runners. I do not yet have a Fenix 6 and all my Garmin watches so far (FR110, F1, F3, F5+) were quite accurate on tracks and also measured longer laps on the outer lane. Is the F6 so inaccurate that such a function is really needed? Then I'll keep my F5+.

A new calibration is required, yes, (and as a matter of fact it happens automatically) but removing previous calibration for another track should not be necessary.
