Garmin 6 Saphire - missing polish language

Hi,

Currently I have software version on watch - 12.20 and I'm missing polish language. Before update this language was here. I connected device through USB cable and in TEXT directory there is no polish.ln4 file.

Does anyone else has the same issue or can send to me this file from own watch?

Hi,

looking for a solution for this. An older gentleman that has bough the watch here in Asia (unfortunately due to Covid restriction no travel and no purchase in Europe is possible) and his English is not good enough to operate the watch properly. It used to be possible to install the polish language files directly trhough Garmin Express in the past, but now no language files at all are shown. I am really in dire need to find the polish language files for him - can anyone help?

The files will be deleted on 10.12.2020.

Just put the file in the TEXT folder of the Fenix.
And it should available.

I have put it into the folder, the watch does not display the polish language unfortunately - any idea?

Try a reboot of the watch. Long push on the lightbutton until it goes all blank.

Then restart the watch.

This solition will work only until next update. IF this is Asia watch, no PL by default. You can rename PL file to any other language and select it in menu.

But like I said., you will need to repeat this After Every update.

The thing is, I did rename a file, I rebooted it and still it does not show polish, it shows the original language. Even if I would delete the other language files from the TEXT folder, the watch still shows them and I can switch to that language. I suppose something was changed with the Firmware.
On another Fenix 6X sapphire, with Firmware 10xx it was possible to install polsih through Garmin Express, this option does not exist anymore.

I hope for a solution from Garmin, it is very frustrating not to be able to switch to other languages

Avoid hope. Get closer to certainty by contacting Garmin Support.
