Can you control the iPhone alarm from the watch like you can on Android?

Can you snooze and dismiss the iOS/iPhone alarm on the watch? I have really appreciated this feature on my Android for some time now, but just switched to iPhone and the alarm on the phone does not seem to trigger any notification/options on my watch.

Actually it stopped working on Android too some time ago after software update

I don't remember EVER having this feature with my android... and I've been on every firmware version from 3.XX to 16.60

I did not have it the first couple of years, but it suddenly popped up.. Might have been when I bought the Fenix 6 or a software update. I think its not possible at all and the limitiations is in Apple, who will not support it.. not in Garmin.. I solved it... by buying an apple watch

It will be great if this functionality will be implemented once again. I mean. Turn off Iphone alarm using Garmin fenix 6x and later.

It popped up on my old Descent MK1, but it doesn’t on my new MK3

My guess is, it depends on the type of notifications used by the alarm app and the features and limitations by the Notification API. The latter may also depend on OS version on the phone. I am not familiar with the Android API, so can't tell how a alarm notification is different. Garmin handles notifications from messengers apps differently as you can respond with predefined messages. But this is advertised in product sheets. I assume Garmin would have to deal with alarm apps also specifically.

I have a Samsung with latest Android, and the alarms of the system application do not appear on the watch. I have installed another watch/timer/alarm app, where a notification is shown but it has no option to disable nor snoozing the alarm.

Why not using the alarm function of the watch?
