backlight when sleeping is not working

I have turned on the backlight when sleeping, but it isn't working :-| It is working fine in the daytime. Anyone know if there is a bug/issue regarding that feature?

Are you using the Battery Saver during Sleep? If you have the Backlight settings there to Offso, this will override the Backlight During Sleep options.

If you are using Backlight During Sleep, you probably want the Battery Saver set to Don't Change.

No. I was walking and it was dark and I wanted to see an hour but backlight is not turning on. What I've noticed is that it is related with battery saving option during sleep. However I've changed battery saving options to don't affect backlight. But it is still not working. I've also disabled 'Do not disturb' option during sleeping hours but still no luck.

I have the same issue. Some people hinted it has to do with sleeping hours, but I dont see how I can remove those.

I have the device on the latest update. and with backlight->buttonpush mode, no battery saving, no do not desturb mode. At night I can only get it to activate if I first activate the flashlight and then go back. then I can see the hour at night. Can someone help me out? I really need to be able to read the hour at night. My 30 euro Casio has this functionality....

-update: my backlight was faulty, and I have sent back the device. The behavior described above is not as it should be.
