thanks, but it didn't help. and unfortunately volume level is enormously high, so there is no any chance to live with it.

in the same time volume control works with the other over-ear philips headset…

Often a soft-reset will fix this sort of issue:

Hold the power button (upper left) down for ~30 seconds, just keep holding it and the watch will power off. Release the button and wait a few seconds, then press it again for ~1 second to turn the watch back on.

I've had the same issue for several months. Plantronic bluetooth headphones worked perfectly then the volume up or down just stopped working. Each time they paired the sound was painfully loud. Never found a solution. Have to keep navigating to music screen on the watch and selecting volume and using down button. Not ideal!
