Fit file file uploading to connect but not showing under activities

Hi all

any help would be appreciated, I’ve just bought a stages bike, I can record the workout via usb, when I upload the Fit file to Garmin connect on windows it show the stats on the page, but I can’t view it under activities nor does it update my mileage etc is there something I’m missing to get it to show under recorded activities on both PC and phone Garmin connect app? I try the upload again under the cloud tab it just say this file has already been uploaded.

You need to pair the Stages bike to your Fenix, and record the ride with the watch.

Thanks for the reply, I’m not using Fenix or a watch the bike only has a console with all the data on it you record your ride on to the USB stick supplied, I can then transfer the Fit file On to Garmin Connect..it downloads ok and you can see all the ride data when you click off the activities dosent up date it’s has though the file asnt registered ?
