SpO2 drains a lot of battery

Customized Watch Faces drains a lot of battery

Music drains a lot of battery

I get 14 days with 10 times one hour of running

Wifi deactivated, bluetooth only active for sync, stock watch face without seconds, no SpO2 (as it's pointless), backlight 60%, deactivated backlight during day, 10 seconds sleep...

I have the 6X Sapphire which means bigger battery than 6s but I get around 12-15days depending on usage.
BT always on, Pulsox at night only (23-06). Usually 3 x 40min activities with GPS per week, sometimes with music.
All else at default settings.

Yes SpO2 overnight + Music will drain the battery.

Absolutely right but strange that I got with the Venu with amoled display and same conditions 3 days, too...

that's the point I don't understand...

Venu and Fenix 6S have comparable battery life. So that's why you're getting ~3 days with both watches under similar usage conditions.

3-4 days is normal for a 6S that's using Sleep PulseOX mode and music. If you turn off PulseOX you'll likely get at least 5-6 days.

Thanks a lot... that would explain the same Batterie life...

Especially charging the Fenix takes significantly longer...

I think I will return the Fenix and keep the Venu ...

The Fenix does last significantly longer than the Venu without SpO2 and music. It also has far more advanced sports related metrics and an always-on-display that uses very little power in bright sunlight. The Pro also has true mapping and more music storage.

However, if you don't use these features and do use SpO2 and music, the Venu might be a better option for you.
