Friends,

My Garmin Fenix 6 X Pro takes to fully discharge 3 days or less, while everything except  messages and emails  are  switched off. If I use PulseOx and GPS, takes less than 2 days  to fully discharge . This means, one of the prevailing values which determined purchase of the watch has been not correct. I trued everything , following Garmin Forum and other sources, but in vain.

Given the fact, that I am not alone , on contrary , besided Garmin has not given any credible  solution, I suggest to organize the users and sue Garmin, to refund the money and take this faulty watch back..

Seeking your opinion and suggestions, but this situation can't  continue, the breach of trust and commitment of Garmin are not acceptable.

  • There have been battery drainage problems recently, on the 5xplus forum to... (after activity with music)..

Your drainage seems extremely excessive, If it was me, I'd make an email to product support, explaining your battery problem, with pictures, then I'd ring product support, and direct them to your email, and go from there, maybe the watch needs replacing....if under warranty it will be free, no need to sue Garmin. : -)

I'd also try a soft reset, then master reset if soft reset didn't work.

    Hope this helps,

    All the best.

Sorry, I tried everything following Garmin Forum. Garmin never gave credible explanation or instruction, yet there are thousands disappointed customers like me. I called Garmin in my country where I bought the $1,000 watch and got lip service. Time is to stop this misery sue Garmin and force them to either sell what they advertise or to pay for damages. I call upon all those affected to organize and put collectively a Cort case against Garmin. Only than, it might happen, some change will come and we get value for money we paid for. Thanks

  • Write to Costume service and explain them your problem. I have had the watch for about a year, battery life was always great (2 weeks, with lots of activities). In the last month, like many others, I started having issues, with the watch going from 100% to 0% in 3-4 days. I wrote them and after a slow first answer, they asked me to send it and I have received a replacement. The replacement has the same battery life as before the issue started (2 weeks). I have however disabled the auto-update and will wait for the next firmware update, in order to figure out if this is a firmware issues.

I did not receive any explanation of the potential causes. I suspect a firmware bug, but for all I know it could be a hardware problem with the batteries.
