battery max is 10 days

Hi there,

I have the Fenix 6 pro for about 3 months now. When I first got it on a full charge it would show 14 days. 3 months in and max charge shows 10 days. Is it possible that after only 3 months the battery could be this compromized / degraded ?

I would not expect this from a $600 watch.

Hopefully there is a fix or reset which I dont know about.

Any help or feedback would be appreciated.

Hello,

For battery drain concern, we would recommend looking to the following things:
- We do see a decline in battery life, when the battery is over 3 years old.
- If the battery is newer, check these settings…

Mine says 14 days but without PulsOx enabled and official firmware. When I set it to measure PulseOx during sleep, I get the same 10 days of runtime.

It should not behave like that, my 9 months F6 pro is not showing any sign of battery loosing capacity. Have you checked all settings? Sometimes an update can change things. Your numbers look like PulseOx is on. If not, try a hard reset.

thanks, it seems I switched on the pulse Ox night setting and that is why it was showing max 10 days battery. Few... its nice to know that the batter hasn't fallen off a cliff. thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated.

Sorry for raising such an old thread, but same thing happened to me. Gone from 14 days down to 10 days max. Pulse Ox is off. Any idea what other setting may have been turned on to cause this?

Hard to say. What are all your settings?

Nothing out of the ordinary, I haven't changed any settings in months. Before today's charge the max was 14 days. Charged it today when it was at 1day and its only going to 10 max. V odd.

Hello,

For battery drain concern, we would recommend looking to the following things:

If the battery is newer, check these settings that can impact battery life: Maximizing the Battery Life
If you have not already, I would recommend cleaning the charging contacts: Cleaning the Charging Contacts on a Garmin Watch
We also recommend trying a hard reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.
If the battery is still not showing the correct days and/or draining too quickly, we would recommend trying a factory reset with these steps:

Ensure the watch is powered off.
- You may need to hold LIGHTfor up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
Press and hold BACK and START/STOP.
Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
After the first beep release START/STOP.
After the second beep release the remaining button.
