External sensor speed/cadence lost after auto pause

My watch is recently behaving strangely in combination with my speed and cadense sensors.

When I am on a bike ride and have to wait for a railroad crossing/traffic light the watch goes into auto pause. So far so good.

Then when resuming there is no cadence or speed information anymore.

The watch is also not using the GPS speed as the sensors are both still connected.

Are there any suggestions on what may be wrong, or what I can do to solve this?

    Same issue here!

  • My friend has a Fenix 6s Sapphire and when do mountain biking using auto pause then the power meter sensor is dropped upon auto pause and never returns. He is running the latest SW 26.00.  it would be great if you could forward this bug to the right Team so that this bug could be fix and also make sure it is mentioned in release notes once fixed

  • Please have your friend reach out to Product Support. We will need a great deal of additional information to be able to test, replicate, and proceed. Sometimes, the type of issue might resolve by having your friend's watch being soft reset or reset to defaults through the System > Reset menu. It could also end up going through our Fitness segment due to the power meter if it's our own. It can vary.
