Battery issue

So I've had the Fenix 6 Pro a couple of months now. And today I went for a run with the battery showing at 6h for GPS when I went into run mode. I completed a 20 min run then came back to the main watch face. About an hour later when I was out walking (without GPS) my watch turned off. When I plugged in to charge it showed the battery as completely empty. This has happened a couple of times now where the battery shows to be more than enough then suddenly it turns off. Has anyone else experienced this??

You can try a soft reset. Long press upper left button, LONG also over teh Garmin emergency thing. Just hold it. After that, turn it on.
You will loose nothing (i never lost something).

You will find various threads on this topic and although there have been recommendations, such as soft/hard resets and downgrading the firmware, as yet there is no guaranteed method of reducing battery drain (and the inevitable black screen of death).

FWIW I have improved my rapidly depleting battery issue by closing connect on my iphone and only opening it to sync, Also, there was an IOS connect update a couple of days ago and this does seem to help. Just out of interest are you, or others with this problem paired to IOS or Android.

I hope that Garmin will sort the problem out shortly, even though they are reluctant to confirm they are aware of the issue.

I've had my fenix 6s pro for 3 weeks. It turned itselt off at somepoint earlier today, and now I have the black screen of death, resets makes no difference neither does charging. Totally black screen, not responsive...

What happens when you charge it? Does it not power on?

I've had it on charge for 1 hour and it doesn't even power on :( i'm So so frustrated right now....

Mine starts charging when I plug it in. Just seems strange it can go from 6 hours GPS battery life to battery discharged after 20 mins of GPS usage.

Hi, I suddenly among all problems with this watch f6 start to have this fast battery drain problem as well. Now I have to after every run , walk etc to manually reboot watch to stop it. about GPS, it's not problem to have difference like 200m after 2km (wife has unfortunately f6s) , but she got no problem with battery drain. I really dont know what to do. with this product.

This happened recently: Went to bed with >80%, woke up to <10%, (no activities were running) about a week ago, hasn't happened since (Held down the light button to reset.)
