Garmin Fenix 6 stopped recording sleep

I’ve had a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro since July and all was working fine however, one night I did not wear it to bed and ever since it has stopped recording sleep. I’ve resynced, restarted both Garmin connect and watch, ensured sleep data is selected in day view however, nothing has worked. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I did two actions which resolved this issue for me. First was toggle battery saver in the watch. Second was, in the app, manually remove Sleep from My Activities, then add it back in. Sleep for the morning…

When you go to the page https://connect.garmin.com/modern/sleep/2020-09-12, what does it show? Could you post a screenshot (after having clicked the Movement button at the bottom).

Is the watch you wear set as the Preferred Activity Tracker in Device Settings » Activity Tracking? And what Bed & Wake Times are set in Device Settings » User Settings? How does the HR graph look like for the concerned night?

It's clearly not affecting everybody - here's mine from last night. Watch is set as Preferred Activity Tracker. Sleep time is set from 2200 to 0700 and I have Battery Saver set to come on during sleep edited as follows:

Watch Face: Low Power
Music: Disable
Phone: Disconnect
Wi-Fi: Disconnect
Activity Tracking: Don't Change
Wrist Heart Rate: Don't Change (set to Auto under WHR)
Pulse Oximeter: Turn Off
Backlight: Don't Change - Not During Activity - Keys: On, Alerts: On; Gesture: After Sunset.

Yes, bed & wake times are set at 10pm & 6am. No data is being recorded on the HR graph at night for the nights when sleep isn’t being recorded (since 5 September).

Are you getting heart rate during the day?

Are you using Battery Saver during sleep? You might want to check the setting there if you are.

My Fenix 6 stopped sleep tracking July 12th. It syncs everything but the sleep data. It is set as the preferred activity tracker and the sleep times are correct. I figured it was related to the hacking issue and would be resolved eventually but here we are in the middle of September and no fix. I got my 1030 plus a couple weeks after July 12th so I don't think multiple devices is the issue. I just checked and the Fenix 6 is still the preferred tracker. I've never had any nights missed since 2017 with my 935 and then the Fenix 6 when I got it Oct 2019. It's on 11.10.

My heartrate data is captured while I sleep so I'm not seeing that it is going into battery saver mode. I still have to charge the watch every other week. My pulse Ox data is also there while sleeping.
