Fenix 6 Pro- Lap Button not working during the swim workout

You shouldn't press the buttons underwater. This is not recommended by Garmin.

I do not press the button underwater. Actually I tried both underwater and above water, in both scenarios the Back Lap button goes back to the home screen. Not sure where is the issue.

The point is that when the buttons are pressed under water, moisture could penetrate past the seals into the housing and the electronics could be destroyed as a result.

I do clean the watch with water after each workout. Never had this kind of issue with Garmin 945.

Any idea, how I can fix the issue. should I contact customer service directly and send the watch back?

Did you activate the LAP button in the activity profile?

Thank you, I googled it. The Lap function is missing from the  Pool Sittings->Data Screen. 

Ah ok. I did not know that. I don't do swimming training.
