Can not pair Fenix 6 pro and OnePlus6 anymore

Hi,

The titles says ir all ..

I run a Fenix 6 and a OnePlus 6. Everything was fine for a couple of months.

Had to reinstall my phone recently. Paired the devices - no issue. The devices then started to not connect together, So tried to re-pair them. I can't get to do i anymore : the phone sees the watch, the Garmin Connect app sees the watch .. the pairing starts .. then ends on the phone .. Did all this with plenty of reboots, suppressing the watch from the device history from the phone and Garmin connect on the phone.. Always blocks at the same point.

Can you help ?

i had something similar once. I found the watch was listed in the Bluetooth section. Once removed their i was able to reconnect the watch. Once that was done i long pressed in the garmin connect devices manager and "updated connection" now it seems the connection is handled by android it self and the mysterious disconnections are gone

But this didn't work either. If I try to pair from Android directly (rather than from Garmin Connect) .. it fails as well.

Could be the phone .. (but it works well wih other BT devices .. )

Replying for future guys stuck like me :

The issue was apparently with the phone. On the phone I finally did a reset of all Wifi / mobile data / bluetooth settings - it worked.

puhh not sure maybe i did the same - its quite some time back that it happened to me
